• Well, in general, this plugin is a good option. Especially when there are just two main players Yoast and All in One SEO Pack. So having another good SEO plugin it’s a good thing. But I have uninstalled Rank Math SEO plugin just because it has this USELESS feature called AMP. For some stupid reason, I have turned it on before I read a lot about how bad it is nowadays to use AMP and how many problems it causes with Google Search Console after. This is really pissed me off.

    Hello @panascanic

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

We really appreciate any feedback we get but the one you offered is not correct, I am afraid.

Rank Math does not create AMPs, which is what you seem to assume.

The AMP feature in the Rank Math you are referring to takes your AMPs (not created by Rank Math) and adds SEO tags to them so they are not seen as duplicate content by Google. We do a few other things as well but that is just about the gist of it.

Basically, you still have to install a 3rd party AMP plugin to actually create AMPs.

If you do not have AMP plugin installed – you can leave that option disabled. Even if you enable that option but do not have an AMP plugin installed – it will make zero difference. We only add those SEO/Canonical/Schema tags when an AMP plugin is ALREADY INSTALLED.

I hope that clears your confusion. You can cross-check this from your end as well and see that enabling the AMP option in Rank Math doesn’t actually create AMPs.

If you need our assistance troubleshooting the actual issue, we will be more than happy to do that.

We hope you will reconsider your ratings. Thank you.
