# Remove alt/title text

 * Hello,
    in the gallery edit page when I try to empty the “Alt & Title Text” field
   and save the gallery, the field is refilled with the filename of the file.
 * How can I keep it empty?

   standard method to keep this field blank as it is used with the `<img>` HTML 
   tag to create a proper HTML element.
 * You might look at using a custom template that does not display the “Alt&Text”
   field as an alternative.
