[Resolved] Remove alt tags from rollovers in category?

  • In my categories, if the user moves his cursor over a category, little yellow alt tags appear that give the full description of the category. How do I turn these alt tags off? Some of my descriptions are rather long, and I don’t want any alt tags to appear. I’m using Beeblebrox and I’d give you the URL to my site, but it’s password protected. I looked in my stylesheet but I didn’t know what I was looking for.
    Thanks,

    Tom

  • Odds are, your theme is using wp_list_cats(). If you check out the link, notice the “use_desc_for_title” parameter (title is what does the flyovers)… I’d wager that you want to turn it off.

HandySolo, thanks! That did the trick. I guess the use_desc_for_title parameter is by default on in my theme, so the parameter wasn’t in my wp_list_cats tag. However, when I included in there and set it as off, the rollover alt text went away.
