# Remove Alphabetic index

 * I have implemented the plugin which allows for manual sort by position. Is there
   a way to remove the alphabetic index at the top of the page, since it serves 
   no actual purpose?

 * Please navigate to the Connections Settings admin page and click the Display 
   tab.
 * Scroll to the “Character Index” section, disable the “Show the character index
   at the top of the results list.” option and save the change.
