    Is there a quick way of removing all products and their categories

 * Do you mean you want to delete all the products in your website?
    Just go to 
   the “Products” in your Dashboard and select all the products. See if it works.

 * I can do it that way yeah, but it would be time consuming as I have thousands
   of products creating in error during an import.
