Remove All Images from an Image Gallery?

    I uploaded an image gallery but then later changed the size that I want to display images. I’d prefer to have wordpress resize all the images itself, but that doesn’t appear to be an option, so I’m going to re-upload them.

    Is there any way to clear the images currently in the image gallery out of it so I can upload a new batch without having to recreate a new post?

    Are you talking about the built in Image Gallery in WP 2.5 & 2.5.1?

    If so, you can manually delete them by going into the wp-content/uploads folder on your site’s server and deleting the files in that folder.

    But be cautious, if you delete that entire folder, ever file you’ve ever uploaded through the “Add Media” section (formerly the Uploads section) will be deleted.
