You can remove a large number at a time by showing more on the comment listing screen in Admin:
- Go to Admin->Comments
- Click on Screen Options at the top right.
- Enter a large number, 999 for example, in the box under ‘Show on screen’
- Click ‘Apply’
Now you can click the checkbox next to ‘Author’ under ‘Bulk Actions’ to select all on the page. Then select ‘Move to Trash’ for the bulk action and click ‘Apply’. That should delete the entire page.
If the delete times out because there are too many to delete at one time, try reducing the number.

How can one remove the comments. At the beginning I did not have a spam rejecting software and there are too many to be removed one by one
