Remove Additional Fields From Front end Form | WordPress.org

I created a custom post type and when I use the frontend post form using the shortcode I am getting many additional fields that I don’t want to appear such as :
- Excerpt
- Author (AJAX dropdown displaying author names)
- publish date
- Post Status
- Ping status
- comment status
- password
- permalink
Have a look at the screenshot.(Imgur.com)
I want to remove all of those fields and just want my custo fields to appear. I don’t see any option to disable this.

Are you using the shortocde or the form method in the Pods class to create your form?

Using the shorcode, you’ll need to list all of the fields manually using the fields argument. That’s a pain, I know. It’s much easier using the Pods class, as shown here:

Hi Josh,
You’re right, I am using the shortcode on a page. The shortcode mentions the pod and its ID. The shortcode is :

[pods name=”hello” slug=”7″ form=”1″ label=”Submit”]

where “hello” is the pod.
When you say add the list of fields manually, do you mean I should add all the fields shortcode(s) individually to create a form? Anyway, I am going to try the class as well.
