  • Theme Author Styled Themes

    To do this, I recommend doing the child theme method for core updates of the theme, but basically there are two methods:

    1. delete the code form the files
    2. do it from css as display:none;

    The 2nd option is the easiest but note that doing this will make this global and the date, author, etc will not be seen throughout the site.

    Adding to the style.css file of the theme, you would use this:

    dl.gj-article-info {display: none;}

    If you need more precise removal, then you will have some recoding to do with some of the theme files.

    The last option…where in the style.css do I add that at?

    In the style.css around line 779, look for this:

    .gj-actions li,
    .gj-article-info dd {

    Add that line that I posted for you right after the above code. I would also make note of what was changed for future reference.

    Ok awesome! That was exactly what I wanted!! Thank you for your help, can I ask another question on this topic or should I create a new one?

    If the question discourses from your original topic, please do create a new thread.

    Ok Thank you

    How to remove the “Posted in”, “Tagged” and “Last Modified” portion in the Footer? Many thanks for this theme.
