• Hello,

I have an SQL DB export that had this plugin in it, I want to use this SQL DB and restore onto another server however the backup itself contains lots of SQL tables in the DB that relate to this backup plugin. Not really an issue but before I do a restore onto a new server I would like to remove all this data in the tables (to start fresh). The tables take up lots of space and contain data that is not relevant for the newly restored WP.

Please advise which of these DB’s I can clear. (I can leave the tables just delete the data). Thanks.

    wp_wponlinebackup_event_log – a few events.
wp_wponlinebackup_items – over 3000 entries for a WP install with only a few pages.

Let me know if it is safe to delete the wp_wponlinebackup_items data.

    Cheers.

    Hi bduncan,

You can clear all tables (except status) if you don’t care about losing the activity log and the events for each activity. Status contains only a single row but it needs to be left alone.

All other data, in items etc are regenerated when you run a backup and are only “cache” data.

    Regards,

    Jason
