Removal of Border and Padding Options in Version 2.27

    In version 2.27 of Photonic some long-standing options to control the borders and padding around individual images were removed. The purpose for removal was simple:

    1. Very few users were using them. These options were set up long before WP had any native capabilities to handle custom CSS
    2. The options required a fair bit of code and generated a lot of CSS even while not being used. Removing them significantly reduced the custom CSS footprint
    3. For users wishing to use them, a single line of custom CSS (under Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS) will suffice more often than not
