Removal of a Plugin gives my an Error Message

  • Hello,
When I attempt to remove plugin files via FTP from a plugin called: WP Conversion Phoenix, I get an error message on my home page:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function headerads() in /home3/ournewpr/public_html/withlacoocheegulfpreserve/wp-content/themes/hmtpro5/header.php on line 754

When I reinstall the plugin files, my website looks OK again without the fatal error showing. If I just deactivate the plugin, I get the same error message.

I am not using the Plugin, and I want to remove it completely
    Can anyone please help?
    My website is: http://www.withlacoocheegulfpreserve.com
It should look OK right now because I have left the plugin activated.

Do you have any suggestions on how to clean out this plugin without damaging the look of my site?

    Thanks, Jeff
