Relevanssi Synonyms all numbers not returning any results

Hi,

We have a custom plugin that creates a list of products under a “Product Template”. We are using Relevanssi for our search. All of the product number are all numbers for example “0014”. The setting for the synonym we have is:
0014=[product name]
All other synonyms seem to be working. Anything with numbers is not.

– I’ve rebuilt the index many times
– check the minimum word length
– If I add a letter at the beginning it works.
– Someone in a different thread suggested deactivating and re-activating the plugin (which I did)

Any thoughts on why this might not be working?
