It’s quite likely there’s a conflict with Relevanssi and another plugin. Can you try disabling other plugins to see if there’s a particular plugin that’s causing the problem in combination with Relevanssi?

Does this happen with every page, or just some pages? One thing you can try is disabling shortcode expansion in Relevanssi settings, some shortcodes don’t play nice with Relevanssi.

    Hi Mikko,

Thanks for the quick response. Disabling that option solved the problem.

I am using a premium theme that uses K Elements to build most of our pages out of short codes, but the part of the site that we’re using Relevanssi for is a custom post type that are displayed with totally custom code. Not having that option enabled doesn’t affect us.

But yes, the problem was particularly noticeable when updating pages that had shortcode elements.

Ok, in that case it’s a shortcode problem. If you can figure out what is the shortcode that causes the problem, it’s possible to disable that shortcode alone, but if you’re fine with disabling all the shortcodes, that’s the easiest solution.
