# Relevannsi + TEC

 * When loading both Relevanssi and The Events Calendar (free versions) at the same
   time, I am getting some extremely sluggish indexing on the posts. I was able 
   to get around it somewhat, by adding the following filter…
 * add_filter(‘relevanssi_indexing_adjust’, ‘__return_false’);
 * However, something seems to be clashing between the two. The site also becomes
   slightly sluggish when both are installed at the same time. Any ideas on what
   the issue might be? I’ve checked the logs and see no errors being logged. I enabled
   troubleshooting mode and disabled all plugins and the custom theme and still 
   get the same result. As soon as I turn off TEC, everything speeds back up and
   the indexing works quick.

 * If the issue persists even when using the basic setup, it may be related to a
   known bug. Could you please check if your database includes the **_shepherd_tec_tasks**
   table and whether it contains a large number of records? If it does, I recommend
   trying the workaround shared in this thread to see if it helps: [Duplicate Queries #34](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/duplicate-queries-34/).

 * I do have that table in my database. However, it only has about 7 records.
 * I did uninstall and re-install both plugins yesterday. The speed seems okay now.
   I am still monitoring, but am hoping maybe it was just a corrupted file or something
   from the original upload.
