Same problem for me
Blog is one40point6.co.uk, hosted on WP Engine. I’ve looked in the debug log but don’t see any errors. I’ve reindexed as worpress.com without success.
Also, when I go to:http://one40point6.co.uk/2016/09/02/swim-training-filming-and-an-letchworth-outside-pool/?relatedposts=1
I get: {“version”:”20150408″,”show_thumbnails”:true,”items”:[]}

@jitolaurence Could you try to install and activate this small plugin, by going to Plugins > Add New > Upload in your dashboard:

Once you’ve activated the plugin, try to relaunch a full synchronization of your posts with WordPress.com. You can do so thanks to the ‘Full Sync’ button appearing at the bottom of this page, after picking your site from the site picker.
If the Related Posts start appearing, you can deactivate and delete this small plugin.
Let me know if it helps.
Hi @jeherve, no luck. I installed and activated the plugin and did a sync but nothing.
Any other ideas?

@aldoctorcenter Your site doesn’t seem to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. Could you try the following:
1) Go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard
2) Click on “My Jetpack” at the top of the page.
3) Click on “Disconnect Site from WordPress.com” if your site is currently connected to WordPress.com.
4) Confirm the disconnection.
5) Click on the Connect button to connect your site to WordPress.com again.
Once you’ve done that, and if you still experience issues, could you try the suggestion I posted above for @jitolaurence?

@jitolaurence Thanks for giving that a try. Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?
1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

There is new Mistake with Latest JetPack Updating, the featured image doesn’t show when i connect to jetpack, but if disconnected you can show it.

That’s odd. Could you check for errors in your browser console, as explained here:

You’ll most likely see at least one error, referring to the broken image. Could you copy the error and paste it here?
