   will it simply override this app.

 * I’d like to start by pointing out that you waited 19 hours between your initial
   post, and your followup complaining about not getting a response. We are all 
   volunteers here on WordPress.org, and as such answer questions at our own pace.
 * Now, on to your question: WordPress will automatically handle the Gutenberg plugin
   when WordPress 5.0 is released, you don’t need to do anything.
