Hello everyone! Happy to announce we released the version 2.4.0 of our calendar. Besides bug-fixes and small improvements we have now made available to everyone the possibility to create and sell tickets for their events, including sale tax and invoice settings!

Please consider the ticketing feature is still in Beta, so any issues related to it please raise them at labs@time.ly.

For any other issues you may encounter about this release, please raise a comment here so we can tackle them with high priority.
Check-out the full list of updates in the changelog section.

    Thank you,
    The fired up Timely team

  • Just upgraded to 2.4.0
I’m not using the Time.ly ticketing at the moment but have events with ‘External tickets’ and a URL ticket link.

I am now seeing two Ticket buttons on Month and agenda views, one in the title header of the event and one at the bottom of the event description.

You can see this by going to my calendar and hovering over an event:

Is there a fix for this?

i upgraded from the wordpress dashboard and after a long delay i was brought back to my plugins section of the dashboard and my all-in-one event calendar is gone. all the remains in the extended views plugin. i can’t re-install either because it tells me the folder exists already

ScAtMaN_UK, I’ve passed this to dev to take a look … Thanks for heads up!

    Hi ScAtMaN_UK,

This looks like a conflict with your WP theme, have you tried to change theme and see if the issue is still there? http://time.ly/document/user-guide/troubleshooting/first-troubleshooting-step/

    Hi mmenzie,

Please try to upload the plugin via FTP.

Hello Benjamin. thank you for the suggestion. is there a way other than that. i currently do not have access to the FTP as i do not have access to the backend where the files are. i do everything through the dashboard as that is all i was granted access to.

@mmenzie – Unfortunately there is no other way, this sounds like a timeout issue, so you need to upload the plugin manually, or try to increase the PHP timeout, or both.

    Hi Benjamin

Switched to Twenty Sixteen and the extra ticket box in the title bar was gone so seems like there is some conflict going on, although I have been using the same theme with the time.ly calendar for a few years now and would like to keep using it. Obviously there is some new ticketing code in the latest version to support the new functionality so something has changed on your end.

Any work around you can think of for now?
    Steve

When attempting to subscribe to the calendar with Outlook 2016, a window pops up showing an attempt to connect to the server then goes away, but no new calendar is added to Outlook.

I’m getting the same issue as @scatman_uk. Again, no recent theme changes. I’ve had and reported timeout problems before, so I think it’s at your end.

thanks @revjgc, we’ll take a look at this!

I’m getting the same issue as @scatman_uk and @revjgc. The “ticket” button does not appear in widget listings, only the calendar proper.

    No recent theme changes.

rpband.org | Home page has an example of calendar widget working properly with no ticket button. However, navigate to the calendar and the ticket button starts showing up.

I should say that although I have had several updates to the calendar I have not received any updated to the calendar themes, I am still running Umbra 2.0.0-core.
I see from recent sceenshots on the time.ly site that the layout has changed somewhat but I have no idea if the themes have been updated or where I can download them from?

tehmay, “ticket” button should show up only on full calendar, it’s not supported at least for now for other widgets.

Updated Time.ly to 2.4.0 and WP to 4.5.2, now Time.ly does not work.

I can not get widgets to work, or the calendar page. I defaulted to 2016, and no plugins at all, and it still does not work. Right now it appears only Time.ly is given me a problem.
