 * Welcome. I have a problem in the tag rel = “canonical”. When I go to the page
   with the gallery, the code is this tag on the page with the album, resulting
   in photos placed in the galleries can not be indexed by search engines.
    Tag
   rel = “canonical” to the page: [http://Mysite.ru/gallery](http://Mysite.ru/gallery)
   But the gallery is located at: [http://Mysite.ru/gallery/123](http://Mysite.ru/gallery/123)
   How can I solve this problem?

 * [@dead86](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dead86/) – Provided sample URL
   addresses does not really help in most cases, it would be best to share the actual
   addresses you are concerned with for us to have a look at what you are referring
   to.
 * Thanks!

 * Yes, of course, here is the link to the gallery:
    [http://yar-doma.ru/gallery/nggallery/fotografii/karkasnyj-dom-v-karabixe](http://yar-doma.ru/gallery/nggallery/fotografii/karkasnyj-dom-v-karabixe)
   And that’s where references rel = “canonical”: [http://yar-doma.ru/gallery/](http://yar-doma.ru/gallery/)

 * [@dead86](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dead86/) – The code reference you
   are noting is most likely from your theme, we would not be writing that `<link
   >` reference.

 * [@dead86](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dead86/) – The only reference I
   can find in your page source can be seen here: [http://take.ms/hhAY2](http://take.ms/hhAY2)
 * This line is not generated by NextGEN Gallery.

 * So I understand that this line generates wordpress? But the problem I have described
   only appears with the gallery NextGen.

 * [@dead86](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dead86/) Check your settings with
   All in One SEO Pack plugin. In some pages you have the correct canonical URL,
   in other is missing.
    Try also to deactivate AIO SEO plugin, just to check your
   pages source. Then, ask to AIO support forum if you have an issue, NextGEN has
   nothing to do with the writing of the canonical URL.

 * In the plug All in One SEO Pack Canonical disabled during their inclusion in
   the code, they are shifted to a different location, but the situation remains
   the same. On other pages that no such problem, it is observed only on the page
   with a gallery, which is formed by the plugin NextGEN Gallery.

 * [@dead86](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dead86/) –
 * > This line is not generated by NextGEN Gallery.
 * It may be another plugin that is generating this `<link>` reference because NextGEN
   Gallery has a display on the page but NextGEN Gallery itself is not adding it.
