    Complement:

    the following message appears when reconnecting via the configuration wizard:

    Warning: connected to plag-haustechnik.de instead of 88.220.

    Why is that?

    You should contact your mail service.

    You are trying to connect without user name and password and they probably stopped it.

    To be clear: the message comes from the server not from the plugin.

    Problem solved!

    Our Sophos FireWall unfortunately rejected the Auth Relay, which is why user authentication was no longer possible.
