For many reasons I use relative links on my wordpress blog ( http://mind.ofdan.ca ), but this causes problems in my RSS feed, as the relative links are broken.

There used to be some plugins to solve this problem, but they haven’t been updated in a long while, and don’t work with the wordpress 2.9 branch.

Is they any fix other than using absolute links?

    I have, I have also tried http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/rss-base/

None of them seem to work, which isn’t that surprising since they haven’t been updated in a long time

    Anyone else have a solution?

I’m having a similar problem and it’s driving me nuts! I don’t use relative links, but I do copy a lot of links within my site. They are automatically changing to relative links, no matter what I do. I used both of these plugins, plus one called “Relative Link Fix”. None worked and the Relative Link Fix changed my links to http://http// on my site and feed.

I’m using WordPress on a self-hosted blog and Firefox. Does anyone have a suggestion to make sure the links are absolute, so they aren’t messed up in my feed?

    Thanks!

glad to know I am not the only one. I would have thought this was an common problem and thus there would have existed a simple fix.

    Guess not… grrrrrrr
