Related Posts Slider not working with JetPack

    I had been using Related Posts Slider (RPS) for some months before it stopped working. On investigation, I have discovered that it doesn’t work when JetPack is activated, but it starts working again if I deactivate JetPack. Until recently both RPS and JetPack worked together quite OK.

    I have been in touch with the makers of JetPack and they say that the problem is with Related Posts Slider and not with their plug-in. They have directed me to the article at http://wordpress-hackers.1065353.n5.nabble.com/Plugin-conflicts-with-latest-version-of-Jetpack-td40417.html#a40420, which they say explains the problem.

    I am not knowledgeable enough to know whether the guys at JetPack are right about this. Can anyone on this forum help me out?

    After some more research, I have discovered that I can fix the problem by turning off the “publicise” module in JetPack, which I am not using.

    For anyone who wants to use JetPack’s Publicise, there would still be a problem.
