Related Posts – Problem

I am still having trouble with Andrea’s related posts plug-in. When the TOC plug-in was activated, the “related” post links got scrambled some how and end up being listed in the middle of the blog entry, kinda jammed in like it is part of the entry. The word “related” shows up and then the links, but it is a mess.
When I deactivate the Table of Contents plug-in (TOC), the related links become completely scrambled. So have to activate the TOC just to get the list of the related links, even though they aren’t at the bottom, nice and neat as they were before.
I can’t figure out how to set them up manually, and I’ve downloaded, redownloaded, and set this up at least 5 times trying to fix it. I’m running out of ideas.
