I have just started using the related posts plugin and added the <?php wp_related_posts(); ?> code to my single.php. After the code was added I checked a test article on my blog and everything looks fine except the “related posts” heading seems to be too far left oriented on the page. If I click Auto Insert Related Posts in the plugin’s settings page in the admin panel then the “related posts” heading shows up properly under my article (and doesn’t have the far left orientation). However, I still have the left oriented “related posts” header under my articles as well, leaving me with 2 seperate “related posts” headings.
I suspect this is caused by adding the code and am wondering if I should just remove it? Will removing the code affect the plugin?
I would recommend using my Yet Another Related Posts Plugin in lieu of the Related Posts plugin. It gives you some good controls for customizing even the “automatically display” option and uses a unique algorithm to give relevant results using a variety of criteria.
