    I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with installing the Related Posts Plugin found here. There doesn’t seem to be any support from the creator anymore, unless I just can’t seem to find it. 🙁

    I’m trying to install it at dev.clicknathan.com.

    I can see that it’s been installed to a degree, hence the » No Related Posts that I’m seeing on the left handside of the page, however, I’m not sure why it’s not relating posts to eachother, as the two posts share much in common, including their titles, body copy, and even similar keywords in the_excerpt (as the plugin indicated I could do).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Oh, also, on the plugins page it says:

    If automatic creation of a full text index fails. (Which it did) You will have to set it up manually. Don’t worry it’s not hard. Just open your database in phpMySQLadmin and run the following command (cut & paste):

    ALTER TABLE wp_posts ADD FULLTEXT post_related (
    post_name , post_content

    )

    So I went into phpmyadmin and entered that bit of code by going to the SQL tab and entering it in the field underneath “Run SQL query/queries on database”

    Perhaps that was the wrong thing to do?

    Looks like it was working after all…

    Maybe it just had a case of the Mondays and was taking its time getting up and at ’em.
