Jetpack’s Related posts are shown in the customizer, but not on my website.

    On shared hosting
    WordPress: 5.0.2
    PHP: 7.1
    Jetpack: 6.8.1

I had no problem displaying the related posts with WordPress 4.9.9. After upgrading to 5.0.1 the block editor was very slow, I ended up making a clean install and am now using the Classic editor.

I’ve tried to following but none of it worked.

    * Disconnect my site from Jetpack and re-connect it.
    * Changed to PHP version 7.2.
    * Using WordPress Twenty Ten and Twenty Elven theme.

I had no problem displaying the related posts with WordPress 4.9.9.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for getting in touch 🙂

Have you tried disabling all of the site’s plugins? After doing that, only add Jetpack, and see how the related posts are working and note any changes.

You’ve already tried out a default theme with no change, so I am thinking you’ve got another plugin running interference.

Disabled all other plugins and reinstalled Jetpack. Related posts still isn’t working.

I’ve also done an debug check of my site on, and all looks fine there.

    And checked the XML-RPC

Only saying “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.”

    Hi there,

The Related Posts section is loading on your site, but it’s not finding any related posts to show.

It appears your site was previously connected to Jetpack, then disconnected for some time before you reconnected it three days ago. Currently your site only contains posts published since 18 December.

However, our index for related posts on your site has results for posts older than that, but that no longer exists on your site. It looks like this is confusing things.

We’ve forced a new sync of data on your site, but related posts are cached so it can take up to 12 hours for this to update, and you also might not see a change before you publish a new post. So please give it some time, and then publish a new post and check if related posts start showing for that new post.

@kokkieh Thank you very much for your reply, I’ll wait and see if the related posts show up in a few days. Hope you all have a good holiday. 🙂

I checked your site again, and I can see related posts on your site now, so looks like everything is now working as it should.

If you still see any problems, though, please let us know 🙂
