# Related Posts – Categories Missing

 * Hi,
    After the last two ‘related posts’ threads I posted, I went and delved a
   little deeper into this issue. On activating Design-Single and then activating
   one by one first the Categories, and then the Tags, it appeared that the Categories
   were not appearing – or at least not appearing in the list of categories and 
   tags under the featured image of the posts – only the tags were appearing. Is
   this the reason that related posts wont show category related posts?

   Note that the ‘Releated posts by’ is set to Tags, as the categories do not show
   up.

 * We will test it on the same issue on our end. It’s working perfectly. Can you
   please use other WordPress installation and check whether having the same issue
   or not.

 * I’ve got one message sent by email, saying that it’s a valid issue and will be
   fixed in a future update, and the message above saying that it’s my website’s
   fault.
    Which is the real message?
