 * Hi,
I’m writing about the Related Posts module in AMP. Setting it up by normal
means, ie via the posts appearing in the sidebar under the categories and tags,
just shows ONE related post (I’ve written two posts since installing AMP for
WP), which is the other post I’ve written. However setting it up to appear ‘In-
Content’ makes the module work properly, with THREE related posts showing from
the last 1000 days. How do I get the original module to show related posts like
   the ‘in-content’ one?

 * Can you please share your website URL? So we can analyze it and help you fix
   the issue for you.

 * Ok then I tried a few things out before your analysis:
    1) Turned OFF the Recent
Posts, but left the Related Posts turned ON, and all posts, related or recent,
disappeared. 2) Turned ON Recent Posts Below Related and the Recent Posts came
back, but still no Related Posts, which by the way are set to appear randomly,
by category, and posted within the last 1000 days. 3) Turned ON ‘In Content Related
Posts’ and set them to randomly, by category, and posted within the last 1000
days, to prove that the ‘in content’ works and that there are in fact other posts
to be pulled. I’d suggest going back to an earlier post – say the ‘TV Ads Christmas
2019’ post to see that the only related post in the sidebar is the most present
one. URL for analysis is [https://www.midlandsmaidens.com/tv-ads-christmas-2019/amp/](https://www.midlandsmaidens.com/tv-ads-christmas-2019/amp/)

 * Something else I noticed in the Related Posts issue, was that if you enable ‘
In-Content Related Posts’, it also enables posts for Custom Post Types, making
   them look stupid.
This is why I’ve now disabled ‘In Content Related Posts’.
