• Hi there,

I have been working on an installation using this great plugin, doing exactly what I wanted it to do. As I have a few hundred pages I spent alot of time making related items on every page.

Just now on going live I have changed the url from http://temp…. to http://www… in the required places, even did a find and replace in the database to make sure everywhere the new subdomain is correct.

    – suddenly it appears that all the related items are empty. If I reenter them, then ofcourse the plugin works fine, but where did they go? How can I get them back, any help is appreciated.

If you want I can provide ftp login and admin.

    Best regards,
    Thomas

  • I have done some investigating on THAWK’s behalf, and I have found a problem in the plugin.
The plugin runs a new WP_Query inside the meta box function displayMetaBox(). This then messes up the $post object when it gets passed to subsequent custom meta boxes. I see you are calling wp_reset_query() after the loop, but I haven’t investigated why that still causes the problem.

Please let me know if there is any more information you need to investigate and resolve this issue.

    Hi Shauno,

    Thx for finding the problem!

I hope the author of related items can fix this bug as I really like this plugin.
It works very well and fast. Shame it messes up other plugins.

    cheers,
    THAWK
