reindex links to archives

    Hi,

    I’m trying to move my content to a new server, and have used the “how to’ found here. On my new site, the content is present, and I can edit individual posts via the control panel.
    However, links to individual via the calendar, or “Categorized” or “Archives” lead me to error pages. The created URL, i.e. http://blog.mynewdomain.ca/index.php/2006/03/01/ and http://blog.myolddomain.ca/index.php/2006/03/01/ are of the same format, but the newsite stuff doesn’t work. Is there a reindexation step that I’ve missed.
    The old domain is still available, so I can test…

    After further reading here, I realized that I had transferred the complete WordPress site, including the cache folders. Deletion of all the cached material on the new server has solved the problem.
    So, if anyone else finds that their links to posts seem broken, do some sweeping up and get rid of any cached files.
