Support » Plugin: Easy FancyBox » "Regular" link tries to open in Fancy Box

  • Yesterday I upgraded WP (3.5.1 -> 3.5.2) and Easy FancyBox. And now I’ve got a problem that link “http://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=XNaFjM6seoA” trying to open itself in the fansybox.

    I have code like this: <a href="http://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=XNaFjM6seoA" target="_blank">here</a>

I know that I can use class=”nofancybox” in my code.

I just wanted to know is it bug (and you’ll correct it) or it’s feature (and I have to correct all my codes).

    Thank you in advance,
    Svetlana
PS Your plugin is the best anyway!

  • I tried lining to another blog and have fancybox catch these links.

    <a href="http://www.giftkoeder-radar.com/blog/2013/07/selbstheilung-bei-hunden-wie-schutzt-sich-der-hund-vor-giften-und-verletzungen/" target="_blank">Giftkoeder-radar.com</a>

I suppose it is because of the “gif” in the URL. I edited the extensions to only recognize .gif but it will still catch it.

Thanks for the advice with the nofancybox class. I’ll do this as quick and dirty fix.
