I Update my WordPress to 4.6 and face the same problem, I don’t know why this happen.

The “Connection Lost” hangup may have to do with a pluggin conflict and a problem with WordPress … they should address it instead of trying to blame it on the hosting companies … it happens to everyone and is a major problem … it would be nice if someone took it serious around here
Hi Same problem after updating my WordPress 4.7 version, tried deactivating all the plugins and re installing the same, but couldn’t solve the problem. and many are advising to upgrade the version when ever its available. But these kind of problems will effect entire work. Kindly send any solution available.

Hi, there is a plugin which is either not compatible with your updated version, try deleting out some plugins. me it was wordpress antivirus
I got it fixed, I contacted my hosting service and they fixed it, they replied me following
“Thank you for holding. This type of issue is usually due to PHP settings being too low. I’ve added a php.ini file and used it to increase the PHP settings. This should prevent the error from occurring again. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. ”
Now, i did not get any “Connection Lost” issue while writing and editing blog post in WordPress admin panel.
