Registration Password Emails Not Coming

    I installed WordPress on our site to start an ongoing blog, but I’m having some issues with the registration process for people. People are coming to the site and registering, but not getting the email with the password. I re-enacted the problem and I also didn’t get the email. It says it sent it, but it’s just lost in space. Is there a place or file i should modify to fix this issue?

    I thought I had a similar problem but actually found that because wordpress sends the emails from a different address than it specifies in the from: tag, a lot of email services class it as spam, but assuming this isn’t the problem…

    I think it is in wp-includes/pluggable.php in the function wp_new_user_notification or something like that.
