I have my registration page set up and it seems to be working. When you register it seems to work and displays “You successfully registered” please check your email for password. However no email gets sent to the new user. The user does get added the the list of users in WordPress so I know the registration is working just not the registration email with password. Do you have any suggestions on what the issue could be and what I could do to try and resolve this issue?

To troubleshoot that, you need to know if wp_mail is functioning. (wp_mail is the function that WP, and thus WP-Members, uses to sent email.)

The reasons could be many, from improper headers to host restrictions.

That should help you test and troubleshoot the function directly.

Another possibility would be making sure you have proper headers for the emails that are sent (using an actual email address). The plugin has a filter hook for that. See:

Thank you for your help adding the filter hook for the proper headers allowed it to work.
