# Registration email failure

 * Hi there
 * I just installed WordPress and it works beautifully BUT for one thing. When new
   members register they do not receive and email with their log-in details.
 * I do get an admin email telling me someone had registered but the user gets nothing.
   I’ve only tested it privately but with other email addresses I own and hotmail–
   but I get nothing.
 * Anyone got any ideas? I can’t use WP if I can’t resolve this which would be a
   pity as the other 99% works great!

 * I”m having exactly this problem but ONLY with those using SBC Global.
 * My guess is that SBC dosen’t like something in the return FROM address. Mine 
   happens to have a hyphen: domain-name.com
 * I’ve had other issues with SBC users outside of the Blogosphere so I’m not surprized.
 * Still waiting for a response myself (and experimenting in the meantime) I think
   I need to change the FROM address in the return email but not sure where to do
   that.
