Hi Cari,
Would you mind telling us what have you tried so far? It might give us a better idea of how to help.
Thanks!
Hello,
First, I selected “Send Sign Up Emails” in the Options tab.
In the Emails tab:
– the “Send From Email Address” I wrote our email address.
– As for the SMTP options – I have tried leaving it blank and I’ve tried filling it in with our email server information.
In the HTML I’ve added the [register].
I apologize as I am not very HTML/Webpage/Wordpress savvy – so I’m trying my best to figure this out with limited knowledge. I appreciate your help.
Cari
Hi Cari,
Have you tried putting anything in the message body?
Yes – I have a full email confirming their registration in the message body.
And there’s no error that comes up at any time?
No error message.
Do you have a private email – I could send some screen shots to you so you can see all the configurations I have made.
Hi lawncareplus,
Yes! You can send us an email at Contact@EtoileWebDesign.com and we’ll see what we can do.
Thanks.
any solution on this issue. i cant get the plugin to send the confirmation email either
Hello,
I was able to get this plugin to send out the confirmation email by installing a different plugin – WP-Mail-SMTP.
Then within the WP-Mail settings I have the following settings:
Mailer – Send all WordPress emails via SMTP
Return – Set the return-path to match the From Email (checked)
SMTP Host – localhost
SMTP Port – 25
Encryption – No Encryption
Authentication – No, do not use SMTP
Username – blank
Passwork – blank
Then I made sure the “Send From” address in the WP-Mail plugin was the same as Front End Users Plugin. And within the Front End Users plugin Email Settings:
SMTP Mail Server Address – Blank
SMTP Mail Username – Blank
SMTP Mail Password – Blank
I am not very savvy with WordPress or websites or anything – so I cannot tell you why my confirmation emails now send. This was pure luck.
