registration confirmation link not working

    Hi there

    I am close to launching my membership site and am at the point of testing everything. I got my wife to pay for a subscription, she received the email with the confirmation link but it didn’t work and she got:

    It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.Search for…

    Could you please take a look and see if you can help?

    I have “user registration” plugin installed but I deactivated that and it didn’t make any difference.

    Hi – apologies – I realised that I accidentally deleted the relevant page. now I have recreated it and it’s working now.

    One thing, though. After clicking on the link and completing the registration form the user is required to find another link in another email to activate the account. This does seem to be one step too many.

    Your thoughts, please.

    Are you referring to the Free membership registration email activation link? If you are, the following link can help you. Make sure you uncheck the Email Activation box.

    Ah.. ok – i get it now. If they are paying then they get an email activation link anyway, so no need for this.
