We have a client who would like to be able to allocate different User Roles based on which page they sign up from i.e

    – Page 1: register as subscriber
    – Page 2: register as contributor
    – Page 3: register as editor

Page 2 and 3 will only be accessible with a password code, so they wont be publicly available. We will also create new user roles i.e. Customer / Client / Prospect.

Is this something WP-Members could handle?

I’m happy to sign up as paid support, but would like to know if it is achievable first.

    Many thanks
    Richard

I think it would depend on how you intend to password restrict #2 and #3, but it would probably be possible to do it as described.

Thanks for getting back to me, I’ve signed up for your paid support and will drop you a mail there.

@richardx, did this work out for you? I am hoping to restrict access based on user role rather than just being logged in or not. Please and thank you in advance.

@charvan – as I remember it would have worked…but other requirements conflicted / the client changed the spec so ended up moving away from this approach and it was never resolved. Chad was very helpful though, good support.

    Thanks!
