# Registering new users

 * Apparently I’m an idiot. I need help.
 * I have a new blog (www.saynotodecaf.com) and my friends reading it cannot figure
   out how to join so they can comment. I can’t figure it out either.
 * Please explain to an internet-idiot in easy, step-by-step fashion how my friends
   can register or comment?

 * If you remove the registering requirement – they don’t need to register 🙂
    admin
   > Options > General: Membership. Uncheck the “Users must be registered and logged
   in to comment”.
 * Edit. alternatively, you can check the other box (letting anyone to register)
   and then a register link should display on your blog:
    example.com/wp-register.
