Registering Accounts Not Properly Filled In

  • On my website’s registration form, I’ve used Cimy Extra Fields in order to have the following form setup:

    1. username
    2. email
    3. first name
    4. last name
    5. captcha

All fields are required. However, I’ve noticed when I register and leave the first/last name empty, get the kickback that those were empty, and try to properly register again, it says my email is already registered….

Cimy is creating accounts even if certain required fields aren’t fully completed, thus preventing me from actually registering.

How do I get around this conflict? The first/last HAVE to be required in my registration form, but the form breaks if they’re not filled in when registering… help!

Please read the FAQ and provide more info, especially if you are using other plug-ins that are manipulating the registration process.
