  • I saw that I also used another user avatar plugin. That displayed the picture on the profile page at the right top of the page of the users.
    I deactivated that plugin.
But still no wp avatar at the bottom of the profile page of the registerd user.

Hi Johanna, only users with “upload_files” capability (see: http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities) can set their own avatars with my plugin, so that excludes Subscribers. I haven’t figured out a way yet how I want to allow users without that capability to upload their own avatars. Other plugins have used a separate uploader, but I want to explore other options. For now, you are correct that as an administrator you can set the avatars for them, but they can’t set it themselves.

    Hi Bangbay,
Thanks for explaining that to me. It is good to know that my site is ok then.
I will look into the possibility of assigning the role of author to registered users, because that role has upload permission.
Good luck with your plugin and all that you do.

    Johanna 🙂
