Registered & Auto-Updated Themes

    Themes should be registered like plugins, complete with an auto-updater. There is absolutely no need for FTP’ing files, dealing with permissions and other administrivia. I hope this is considered for future versions.

    I personally don’t want WP handling the creation of theme folders or uploads, that’s an extra area of security to worry about…

    I don’t want theme auto-updates either…

    The admin area is slow enough already, let alone adding such as the above.

    Good idea, i just personally don’t agree with it… 😉
