register_http_request_failed for Jetpack

This has been an issue on my site for a while. It was working a few versions back and now it isn’t. I get the error register_http_request_failed.

I deactivated plugins, reinstalled Jetpack, nothing works. It works on all my other sites on the same hosting, and I haven’t changed anything in a year, as far as server-side.
