Hi @sudie97,
Thank you for writing to us.
You can configure some fields like name, email to display in registration form only and set other fields to show in profile. Also, you can set account activation using activation link in email. This will allow users to register by filling form fields only and activate their account by clicking on activation link to fill in more fields in profile.
Please refer to the following steps to configure fields this way:
1) Login to the WordPress dashboard and go to the ProfileGrid Group Manager page.
2) Go to the Group Fields for the group you want to edit.
4) Next you will see the list of Fields for that Group. You can edit, delete or add fields from here.
5) To show fields in profile, enable the option “Display on Profile Page” in field settings.
6) To hide in registration form, disable the option ‘Display in Default Registration Form’ in field settings.
After activation, once user logs in, the user can edit fields that are in profile only from the profile page.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
I do not see the option ‘Display in Default Registration Form’ in field settings. Where is it?
Hello @sudie97,
This option will not be available on mandatory WordPress registration fields, such as Email. But will be available to you on other fields. Please check this screenshot for reference: https://ibb.co/7t1RFV8
