    Hi @o2xav

This is Ioanna from Imagify and I’ll gladly assist you here!

We will not update WebP if you edit the original image, so you would either have to:
    – reoptimize image after cropping
    – delete WebP via SFTP and then generate it again via Imagify Settings page (generate missing WebP)

This is something that should be improved in the future. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a timeframe at the moment.

Let me know if you need further assistance. I’ll be happy to help.

    Best regards,
    Ioanna

    Hi @o2xav

You can see this option if there are images that are optimized and they don’t have a WebP version. If you already tried to delete WebP via SFTP and still there is no “generate missing WebP” then you might need to create a ticket through our support page.

However, is it working if you re-optimize your image after cropping?

    Best regards,
    Ioanna
