This plugin is incomplete without the ability to select images in the media library and only regenerate them.

Also, since it includes the ability to pick a range of dates, it really makes sense to provide two date pickers and make this feature truly flexible by regenerating images from any period. Typically, the images I want to regenerate are the oldest, but they are less than 30% of all the image, so it’s a waste to choose “All”.

This may have financial implications when forcing regeneration of thumbnails while using a premium optimization service to process them, which I do.

@galbaras thanks for the suggestions, indeed it makes sense, the specific images regeneration is already on our list, will add the specific period to the list too.

Would love this feature as well. Any updates on when you think it might happen? For those of us with LARGE thumbnail folders it’s a must to do them in batches. Especially since it looks like this plugin repeats itself. Like if I do last 30 days it works great. But when I click last 90 days it does those same (last 30 days( images again. Would be awesome to do them by month/year.

As a shortpixel user looking forward to the next update of this.

    Hey @tcm1968!

We still don’t have any update. As soon as we do, we will publish it on our changelog.

    Thanks for your understanding.
