    Hi,
Just noticed that your plugin has reduce my image source files and not just created a secondary thumbnail from my source file.
Is this what your plugin does? I have a photography site and connecting an ecart for auto fulfilment to a print lab so need the original source files.
    many thanks

    Hi @nillamary!

The purpose of this plugin is to regenerate your thumbnails if you change the image sizes of your site. You can see more details on the plugin page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

And it should not remove your original images. When you go to your media library, and access the image, you still should see the original image link after the label: “Original image”. The image can also be accessed through your uploads folder if you want.

I hope this can answer your questions. =)

    Hi,
Sorry for the late response. No, this doesn’t answer my question.
Only a few of my images display the “Original image” link, the rest display nothing/no link – only the reduced image jpg details. The original image is nowhere to be found.
This is the reason for my question.

    Hey!

I couldn’t simulate your issue. So in order to help us to reproduce it, I’d recommend you deactivate other plugins and change your theme. After that, I’d ask you to try to reproduce the issue again and send us all the steps for that. So we can also simulate it to help you find the cause.

If you are not able to reproduce the issue anymore after deactivating other plugins and changing your theme, the issue is probably coming from some other plugin or theme.
