# Regarding title rewrite

 * Was looking though the code regarding title rewrite (and why I need to enable
   output buffering rewrite). I see that AIOSEOP [doesn’t use](https://github.com/awesomemotive/all-in-one-seo-pack/blob/3faf5506d6f1017ee439e9166fb1e95ecd512610/aioseop_class.php#L4022)
   the `pre_get_document_title` filter to overwrite theme title. Why is that?

   was introduced years after our plugin was initially released in 2007. We are 
   modernizing the plugin though so we’ll definitely use it in the future.
