To update them manually just re-upload the (updated) plugin’s folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory. I know I change some passwords of my site because of it, but since to update the passwords it asks for my FTP password I checked with my hosting company who confirmed it, so it wasn’t changed. How can avoid doing manual updates. Can I change the password on my WordPress site? I don’t fancy doing a manual update every day, even though I haven’t tried it yet as I’m not sure I understand to what you are referring! I just have one website that was created for me by a company that went bankrupt and now I’m left to update it all on my own. Do you think it had something to do with the cache? I know I have to keep emptying it.
