# Refunds Error

 * I want to make a refund in WC order panel(stripe test mode), but WC says:
 * “An error occurred while attempting to create the refund using the payment gateway
   API.”
 * Is not normal because I’ve set up the API Keys/Webhook key that Stripe Dashboard
   provides me.
 * Looking in Stripe api logs, I couldn’t found the failed request…I can’t debug
   what is happening.
 * At same time, when I want to refund from Stripe Dashboard, Webhook is launched
   but I couldn’t see in Woocommmerce that the order change refunded….
 * Someone is experimenting same errors?

   to ensure that the API keys in your settings and your Stripe dashboard match?
   I know you said this has already been done, but please just confirm if that’s
   been done once more.

   always having you re-check those credentials, so if you’ve already checked twice,
   thank you.
 * Can you check to see if Debug Logging is enabled? You can find that in the Stripe
   plugin settings: _WP Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Stripe_
 * Once you’ve ensured that’s enabled, can you try re-processing a refund? That 
   should then create a log in: _WooCommerce > Status > Logs_
    In the dropdown, 
   you’ll see a Stripe log for the current date.
 * Do you see anything in that log that may explain why the refund wasn’t processed?(
   eg, an error code, etc.)
